About

About This Blog:
Welcome to the Northern Virginia Dog Blog — your source for K9 fun, information, and entertainment in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. If you’re looking to swap tips, share stories, have more fun, and take better care of your four legged friend, then you’ve come to the right place!

The Northern Virginia Dog Blog is sponsored by a group of county and town governments in Northern Virginia. Our goal with this blog is provide an informal — semi-official — channel for an informal discussion with our citizens about dogs in our communities.

We strive to make our communities as dog-friendly as we possibly can. We want you to know about the dog-related services we provide. And of course, we want you to know about dog-related rules and regulations that we have.

Last but not least, we want to encourage you to be a good neighbor and pick up after your dog, both on and off your property!
